The sun shines bright through the closed blinds of the window. There are funny-looking shadows on the walls that are being cast by the trees through the closed blinds. The clock to your right flashes twelve o' clock in bright red block numbers. You cant tell if its AM or PM.
Twelve o' clock, twelve o' clock, twelve o' clock.
The power must've gone out halfway through the nightor maybe just a few minutes or a few seconds ago.
It doesn't really matter when it happened, but what does matter is that it did happen. You sigh and hit the clock with your hand balled into a fist.
Twelve o' clock, twelve o' clock, twelvenothing.
You get up and search the floor for clothes that you could wear that would pass off as something clean. What time was it? Are you late? Early? The most important thing to you is first impressions and for all you know you could be two hours late to your job interview.
